TILES keeps crashing

I was enjoying the added functionality of TILES - it helps me keep my projects organised and with quick access to all their most important files. However, as of a few months ago it just stopped working. So, i tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but the same thing happens every time. Initially it looks OK and is working, but after just a few minutes of use it crashes again. The Tiles disappear, but windows still "thinks" that they are there because all my desktop programs, when resized, are resizing themselves based on Tiles still taking up the side of the screen where i always used to have it. No amount of restarts or reinstalls have helped. I am using windows 10 pro, 21H1, Build 19043.1288.

Version of Tiles i was using was the latest stable release (not a beta).

I would love it if this was going to become compatible again with my version of windows.

thx

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please try purge and reinstall steps as mentioned here: [link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account. Reboot after the purged. Reinstall, and Reboot again after the installation. Retest it. Report back here.

That is normal just click "OK" until the purge is finished. Reboot after it is done. Tiles should no longer load by then. And continue to reinstall.

Thank you,
