Start11 ver. 0.94 Weird behaviour

Since last update I noticed weird behaviour of Start11:

when I click on start button, start menu appears detached from task bar - on upper left corner of the screen.

Is it some feature which I can correct so it will appear where it should - right above taskbar, or it is some error?

Thanx

Is your start button centred or left aligned?

and this continues with Start11 0.95?

Start 11 0.95 installed and seems to be working ok, but so did 0.94 when first installed. After I changed my wb skins a few times, that's when it messed up. But we will see.

WindowBlinds 10.x is not compatible with Windows 11 and may well cause serious issues including explorer crashes.

I expect thats the problem here.

I am not using WB, and the problem exists.

I'd like to find solution for this....

Which menu style are you using, where is your taskbar positioned, do you have anything running like Ultramon/display fusion?

Also how many monitors, does it happen if you press the windows key or just the taskbar start button and is it out of position the first time you open it?

Finally what resolution are your monitor(s) and what scaling factors?

Sorry lots of questions.

and a screenshot would be useful.

I'm using Win7 menu style, taskbar on the bottom of screen, no Display fusion or Ultramon.

It happens weather I press Start button or Win key, allways, from the first time I open it.

Monitor is 1900x1200, no scaling.

If you centre the start button does it make any difference?

No, but Start Menu moves to center, in that case.

Ok.  If you allow it to have more items shown, does the menu go offscreen or come down lower on the screen?

If I set it to show more items it doesn't go off screen, bottom side goes down.

ok, so it believes it has to position itself top of the screen.

We will do further investigations as to what possible code path it could follow to do that but also leave the user icon visible.

I still have the same problem, Start Menu detached from Taskbar, appearing at the top of the screen.

Has anyone look into it?

So far nobody in house has been able to reproduce this.

Are you using Objectdock as we have had a few reports from people using that.

We are still investigating the problem however.
