Start 10 Windows 11 Install

Tried to install Windows 11.  Get message that Start10 is not compatible and to uninstall or update to Start 11. I have tried both to no avail.  Windows 11 will not install.  Install stops at 35%.  Windows workaround says to uninstall Start10 or upgrade it.  Nothing works.  Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, I do believe, Start10 is not compatible with Windows 11. There is Start11 that work perfectly with Windows 11. https://www.stardock.com/products/start11/

Thanks for advising about Start11, however, that is my problem.  I have updated to start 11 and windows11 still will not install.  I have uninstalled both start 10 and 11 and will not install, so I am still stuck with a start 10 problem.

Please try purge and reinstall steps as mentioned here: [link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version of Start11 from your account. Reboot after the purged. Reinstall, and Reboot again after the installation. Retest it. Report back here.

I have tried the pruge this morning with still no luck.  It continually goes back to the compatability hold from microsoft for the start programs. Thank you

Oh, you mean your Windows 11 will not installed? Than probably you will need to do Windows 11 fresh install.

Help please!!!.......I am NOT computer savvy, so NOT good at this at all,and don't remember how I did it the first time (2 years ago) -- what app is best for installing Stardock Start 11 on my Windows 11 laptop? This is a renewal,not a first installation.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Start11 don't need another application to install. You just need to download the Start11 installer program from your product account page using this link: https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products and install it.
