Multiplicity activation on windows 7, no popup

I need to activate a freshly installed Multiplicity on a Windows 7 that has never, and will never be connected to the internet.

When trying to open multiplicity, from systray or otherwise, instead of showing activation popup it jumps straight into internet explorer, to some activation link (which is of course useless with no internet).
