Start 11 shows the Start Button Mouseover image in the wrong place.

Hi!

I'm running Start 11 v1.0 on Windows 10, with the taskbar icons centered.

When I mouse over the Start Button, that image appears in the left corner instead of where the centered Start Button is. If I then click, the Start Menu opens normally and functions normally so it appears to be cosmetic only, but is annoying.

Just thought I'd leave a heads up on this - Love Start 11 otherwise.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need more information on your system.

  1. Windows 10 version numbers, you can use Windows "Winver.exe" to get full version numbers.
  2. Do you have Windowblinds or Curtains running in the background?
  3. Do you have more than one monitors on this system. And this happened on all monitors? Resolutions on all the monitors.
  4. A screenshot or a video of this issue.

Thanks

1. Winver reports Windows 10 version 21H1 Build 19043.1348.

2. I run Windowblinds in background.

3. This is a two monitor system with identical LG monitors running @ 1920x1080.

4. Main Monitor:

Secondary Monitor:

Note that on the secondary monitor, the mouseover image doesn't show at all, but at least the image stays in the right place.

Need to know what other software you're running on the background. Winstep? If it is, try disable that reboot and see if it help. Report back here.

Sorry about that, Please ignore that, After loading some other Windowblinds skin, I can reproduce your issue. It look like Windowblinds Animated start buttons vs Start11. I have forward your problem/question to Stardock Support Team for their assistance. Please keep an eye on this thread for any updates. We appreciate your feedback and patience.

Thanks
