Please try purge and reinstall steps as mentioned here: [link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account. Reboot after the purged. Reinstall, and Reboot again after the installation. Retest it. Report back here.

I have tried this out, with this result:

Then both got bold

This is with ClearType text turned on:


I would like to have all shown like the last right one. All the others are hard to read.

Need to know, what is your Windows full version and OS build number. Use Winver.exe. The screenshot was taken from my Windows 10 system. And that should appear if you search for cleartype setting in Windows search.

Perhaps you will need to upgrade to Fences v5 since you on Windows 11 latest. Below is a screenshot on my Windows 11 v23H2 OS Build 22631.3810 with Fences v5.56. The Portal Fence icons text look the same as the Normal Fence.

Then I think I have to live with this error

If you wish you can do the 30days free trial and see if the issue actually resolved on your system. You should be able to revert back to v3 without issue.
