Can't Place Order for Start11

Won't accept any payment method.

I get an error every time I try to place an order for a Start11 license. I'd like to get the order in before my 30-day trial expires. Please help, thanks.

Here's what I see, no matter what payment method I use:

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Do you reside in the US or somewhere else?

Thanks

I submitted a ticket and got no response. I submitted another ticket a few days ago and have so far received no response. My trial expires in 3 days, according to the pop up notification I got today.

Despite all this, I still want to buy a license. What else can I do to make this happen?

There are a few things you could try. If you can, try to purchase from another computer or use a different internet browser than your default. Turn off any VPN if you've got that running.

Tickets are reviewed in the order received and by placing a second ticket that sends you back to the end of the line

you should wait for a response . and check your spam folder that it's not there also.

@JanOscar: Tried all that before the first ticket. No luck.

@AzDude: So my first ticket goes to the back of the line because I submitted a second ticket? That makes no sense. And, as I said, my trial expires in just 3 days. I can't afford to wait.

Of course, I could always just keep creating new accounts using new email addresses to get new 30-day trials…

Maybe the problem was with your method of payment , if you paid with Paypal

then your Paypal address would be used if it's different than your account address.

If you do get a response from your ticket and still have an issue post your SSN#

back here and we can try to follow up .

Tried all the payment methods I could, also before the initial ticket. I don't know what you mean by SSN#. Surely you don't mean social security number, which you don't have anyway.

OK , Submit a new ticket to support for your issue here https://stardock.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/4

if you still have an issue after they respond to your ticket , your ticket will have a SSN# , you can post that number

back here for us to follow up on .

( No it's not a social security number ) it will be your ticket number SSN#

My first ticket from mid-January was closed with no other response. (I can't find the email saying it was closed so I don't have the SSN#.) I submitted another ticket a couple of days ago but didn't note the SSN#. So I should submit a third ticket? (If I do, I'll definitely record the SSN#.) Or should I wait to hear about the second ticket & report that SSN# here?

Either way, my trial expires tomorrow so I'm SOL.

Until you get an email response back that's when you get the SSN#

so wait a bit longer for your second ticket back as they are only reviewed

in the order received , everytime you submit a new ticker you go back to the

end of the line for review .

If you don't hear back after a few days post here again .

Oddly enough, I got a response just a few minutes after your last reply. They suggested all the things you did and that I had already tried.

BUT…

I tried a combination of email/payment that I swear I'd tried before and this time it worked (or I didn't try it before and only thought I did). So I got my product key and all is well.

Thanks very much for all your help!

We find many many times that some people type their email address wrong

and that's probably what you did the first time the second time you got it right .

But your good to go now
