A while back several of our members were contacted by a guy somewhere in the Far East who wanted permission to put our WindowBlinds skins on the disc of his magazine 'Windows 100% Super'. At the time several experienced members warned that the other content of the magazine might not be exactly what you would expect from a publication about Windows.
Well, I gave my permission to the guy to put one of my skins on the disc on the condition that he sent me a copy of the magazine to look at. Yesterday I received said magazine through the mail, complete with cut-off corner of the envelope so that the customs guys could check the contents.
True enough, our WindowBlinds skins were reasonably well represented in the magazine and were on the disc in their original forms. However, in print form they were amongst pages and pages of pornography of a questionable nature, and the three discs (including one DVD) were filled to the brim with video of what appear to be underage girls seemingly being forced into unconsential 'physical relations' (family site...).
Suffice to say the magazine got shredded as soon as I got home tonight and the discs were smashed into little pieces. I kept the pages from the magazine with the skins on, which are thankfully devoid of any 'skin pics', and the cover which is just words. I don't have a clue what any of it says of course. Perhaps at some point I'll put up some scans of the 'family suitable' material so the rest of you can see your skins in print.
Did anyone else get the magazine? Is anyone else expecting their front door to be kicked down by the child-abuse branch of their local police force? Live and learn...
