why dosnt stardock or someone make a program that can show all parts of windows! like a tester

that would be very cool for skin makers dont u think?

but it dosnt show all parts i mean 100% and it needs to show it in action! most of the time when im making skins
skinstudio dosnt show it right.

Microsoft came up with a great program that does it.
Called something like 'Windows'.......

sure it dose, but its not fun going all around windows to check if some thing is working for example i never found out where was a caption bar or miditool untill i started working with adobe or to see the flash taskbar u have blah blah blah blah blah blah blah forget it

Frogboy, there is this 'mouse over' option for the startmenu, it is normaly a square with a custom color but you can also change it into a 'custom shape'/object, I hope you know what I mean

flashing taskbar caption frame tool botton but the main problem is that it dosnt show exactly how it will look

actually they improved the views considerably with the latest betas,still a few oddball things that dont show.definite improvement tho

I would indeed be cool if the war a "preview" button in SkinStudio where it would open a Window similar to the one you already see, but with all buttons, toolbars, scrollbars, progressbars, etc live. Where you could test it in action all in one window.

Sounds cool! I dont know how much I would use it, but maybe once I started making WindowBlinds themes I would use it more.

I report for duty SoliD_NuTs. I also agree with you. SkinStudio is great and gives a little bit live preview, but I isnt RealTime.
And it could also use GIF's For animation.

SkinStudio shows virtually every control possible. What control does SkinStudio not show?

The only one I've ever been able to find that it doesn't show is the 'Tree View Expander' bitmap. Maybe I'm just missing the place where it displays in SkinStudio.

However, this tiny bitmap is not a big deal. It really was hardly worth mentioning.
