Change in licensing terms? Also de-activating Steam installs

Bit of a Fences mess

A- When I purchased Fences, the licensing agreement allowed me to install it on up to Four computers via Steam.  However, the current EULA says one computer - can I safely upgrade or will I suddenly lose access on all but one computer?

B-  I have since lost access to one or two of the computers that I installed Fences on - how can I de-activate a product that was activated through Steam?   I see how to do it if my licenses are on the Stardock website, but I can't seem to see the Steam-based licenses there.

Fences 3 activation quantity has not changed - only Fences 4 has.

If you are at a maximum, you will be prompted to deactivate old \ dead PCs.

Thank you for the reply.  I note, though, that the "upgrade" screen is referring me to what seems to be Fences 4 licensing terms - use on one computer.  I am just burned from past experience of upgrading software and being stuck with more restrictive terms.  Can I either

a) be certain-sure the nagging update is keeping me in Version 3, and displaying the wrong EULA in error.

or

b) have a way to disable the update notification?
