Taskbar very big since upgrading to beta

I have updated Start11 to beta version and now the taskbar is really large at the bottom of the screen. I have rebooted and made no difference. I uninstalled and reinstalled the previous version and it is still the same. I think it is twice the previous height and the icons of the applications running are equally big. How can I get it back to the original Start11 format?

Thanks

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. If you have enable "Allow the taskbar to be resized", just like in Windows 10, you now can just hover over the taskbar edge, once the mouse pointer change to resize icon, you can click and drag to resize the taskbar.

Thanks

Also make sure you have not set the taskbar to larger icons in start11.

End of garlic_dude's quote

1.16 is the beta release of 1.2

To change the taskbar size go to the taskbar settings page in Start11.  Scroll down on the page and at the bottom there should be settings for taskbar size and taskbar position.  I suspect you have the taskbar size set to Large.

You will need to restart explorer once you have changed this setting.

If this isn't the case and it is set to Medium already, could you post a screenshot showing the problem so we can get more idea of what is going on.

Hey Neil

Thank you, sorry I struggled to find that control and have now set it for medium and it is great thank you! Not sure how it appeared as large. All working now, thanks! Also thanks for confirming the version number.

Cheer!
