Ship designs keep disappearing. *Fixed*

I was running CHEAT, fastunlock (all Techs) and building huge chassis.

something went wrong trying to save huge chassis with console cheats.

Hi there whenever I design a ship , my designs disappear. Both the ones I save as templates and designs.

Go to the folder \Documents\My Games\GalCiv4\

In it is there a folder titled Designs?

If yes, are there any files in it?

Hi Thanks for replying. There are designs in that file, but the new ones I am doing don't show up again. I am running cheat with all research and building huge ships.

The player designs I downloaded do show up.

I am trying to save some huge designs and had "short names" selected in options. I deselected "short names".

Without cheating does a design get saved and shows up?

I suspect no, just don't unlock techs with console commands.

Okay the new game seems to be saving my designs properly thanks..

Backed up my saves.

Deleted the Galciv file in Documents folder.

Reinstalled.

Works fine including Cheated tech now.
