entering a registration code

Well, it is different with different programs. For which program did you get a code?

Presumabley it's for a Stardock app, so you will have received your code in an e-mail that would also have told you where to put it.

You can't enter a reg code in the shareware version. The email you received from Stardock, includes the link to download the full version.

If it is a Stardock product, please uninstall the shareware version. Download and install the enhanced version (download link that is provided with your serial number, which you can also look up at: www.stardock.com/support).

The installer will prompt for the serial number.
