Window Blinds 3 and 4 loaded

Is it normal to have both versions of window blinds. I have both on stardock central. Ive tried getting rid of 3, but it shuts all of windowblinds down.

Ive checked on my WBs about tab, to see what i am running. Says 4.

Anyone have a clue to why i have both versions?



Next Question. Everytime i start Stardock central, I have an update to WindowBlinds 4 (So i update, then restart) Then i have an update for WB3 (again, restart) so on and so on...... HHHHHEEEEEEELLLLLLLPPPPPPP

Yes it is normal at present, eventually the spurious one will disappear

I have actually got 2 version 4's

Maybe uninstall WB v.3 and then restart, then install WB v.4 and then restart.

Takes about 5 mins and solves all problems.

Morphium has a good suggestion there. But, why on earth would you install updates to version 3 when you have updated to version 4. I think you are just asking for trouble right there.

The reason you have both versions is because you probably updated version3 to version4. So, version3 is still recorded as having been installed.

I have the same on mine. I have WB3.5 and WB4. If I try to delete one or the other, I lose WB all together so I just keep them both and update whatever it says. This has been going on for months and I asked the same question before. No answers solved me problem so I just ended up living with 2 WB files in SC. ???

Yeah, I don't think you actually have both. SC just records some things a little strangely I think?
