ARGH Stupid ObjectDock

Probably it's Your mistake. Because programs do what You tell them to do.

ObjectDock saves it's settings when it closes. Either by manually shutting down ObjectDock, or by shutting down the computer normally. A dumb question, I know, but did you reset through windows or by whapping the reset button on your box?

Programs always do what you tell them to do.



Seriously folks, maybe something happened. Give it another shot and make your slapped together design the default skin.

Then save it... twice!

Wait a few minutes... and save again.

Turn off the computer and walla!!!

I had that problem the first time too. I don't know why it didn't save it. The second time it worked and I checked it before I shut down OD or my computer. I would choose a new name. Save it then check to see if it was saved. You can check in the themes folder of object dock. Look for a ini file with your saved name. Also, you want all your docks in the object dock folder or it may cause a problem reloading them. Who knows what exactly happens. Maybe you didn't hold a button long enough. So, it inadvertantly took your command as an button error and closed the window but didn't perform the command. I know that you don't think you did anything wrong. But, what you think doesn't really matter. It's what windows thinks you did that matters.

That's a bummer DarkKajin. I spend a long time getting mine just right sometimes too...I usually save them in 2 or 3 different files .
