Jafo - Screenshot question.

I dunno what you mean when commented. Do you mean moderate or something else? I don't make walls, but I'm learning slowly. This isn't my wallpaper. Please make me understand. Thanx.

Oh ok. You mean the text "Happy Thanksgiving?" I'm a little confused.

He means that you need to have more open windows or objects covering the wallpaper, unless you made it yourself. It's it's not your work, it need to be covered better so that one could not download your screenshot image, erase your start bar, and get the wallpaper for themselves. The artists generally don't want thier work distributed in this manner.

Take a look at the screenshot in my profile picture. I try to have at least 3 windows open to hide the wall, as I certainly did not make it.

but that hides the beauty of the wall paper.

Kona...the 'beauty of the wallpaper' is not the user's to distribute, unless it's the user's wall.

Chickie....the concern is that a screenshot is supposedly just that....a desktop in action, and not an unobstructed wall....especially 'if' that wall may be a commercial product, as was the case in a previous instance.....the one that resulted in much furore and dummy-spitting.

The only person 'entitled' to distribute a wallpaper....in any shape or form or by any method or artifice is the creator of that wall, unless express permission is sought and received [and included with the distribution]...
