Minimum system req. for Longhorn

well, what could be the minimum system req for long horn?
i have:
P4 2.8 Ghz mobile.
256 MB RAM
DVD/CDRW
ATi Radeon 9000.

will it be OK to load longhorn?

oops: /me forgot longhorn has 3 more years... lol

I think you have just about all it needs. You might want to add a few more rams of memory

it's getting to the point where you need a 2 ghz (or more) processor and 512 megs of RAM just to run a OS.

Reminds me of using apples. Asfter all, if you put 1 gig of RAM in a apple it still runs slow.

Even when Longhorn comes out I will stick to XP thank you.

Three more years till Longhorn? I think I will just get a Longhorn PC instead of trying to upgrade this one.

The Pentium 4 will be perfectly fine. I do recommend putting in a lot more RAM, though. Maybe 512-768MB. Also, you will definitely need a new graphics card to run in Tier 2 (the cool-looking mode of Longhorn.) Because Avalon and Aero are tied into Direct3D, you can't have an out of date graphics processor. Wait to upgrade your graphics though if you're okay with your current setup.
