Colony Ship Question

Typically I only load 1 colonist on each colony ship. I can understand why you may want more to colonize a core world, but is there any benefit to having more than one colonist on a feeder colony? Are more resources given to the core world? Thanks guys.

No, you don't get any more resources for having more colonists. The only reason to do it is if you plan to turn the colony into a core world.
