I changed my mind for now how do i move my startbutton down it does not work with the margins skinstudio 10.1

This is for a WindowBlinds skin, not a Curtains skin, correct?

To increase the taskbar height, increase the taskbar buttons Text Margins for Top and Bottom:

That will also make the taskbar buttons taller.  If don't want the taskbar buttons taller, i.e. more transparency above and below them, you will also need to edit the taskbar button images and add the transparency to the top and bottom, and also increase the Painting Margins to reflect the added space.

Easiest thing to check/try is the "Position vertically in the taskbar" setting:

That will center the button vertically.  If that doesn't get it down far enough, you'll need to edit the image and add some transparency to the top of it. or perhaps scoot the visible part of the image down if there is a transparent area below it in the image.

To make the taskbar taller if you decide in another skin, you need to adjust the text margins of the taskbar buttons. The more you add to the top and bottom, the greater the height in the taskbar.
