Programming Question

I'm sure all you super pgmrs can help me figure out a little problem I'm having with Logon Studio.

So here's the question. Where does the data come from on the signon screen that says "xyzuser has 3 unread messages"?

On my system this information is incorrect as I never use MS OE but yet it is in there somehow. How can I clear it out of there? Can I clear it out of there. There are NO unread messages in OE or any of my email clients, but yet the message remains.

Please help,

Thanks,
TC

Well, for one, logon studio isn't part of the problem, it's the usual XP login message stuff.

For some reason, the logon screen gets stuck with what it thinks is unread mail (apparently, some of the last ones in OE).

A quick way to get rid of it is to get the TweakUI powertoy from MS. Go to the section called LOGON, and in that, there should be an entry called UNREAD MAIL, and you should be able to turn that off there.

Yep,

I didn't think it was really a Logon Studio problem, BUT I did know that I could get good information here about this problem because you guys work with this stuff all the time.

Thanks,
