Start 11 - cannot change Taskbar to multirow or "unlock"

I have always had my taskbar 3 rows high, but I cannot seem to find a way to do this with Start 11 - in fact, the "Lock Taskbars" item is checked, and greyed out, so I cannot unlock them to drag the taskbar to the desired number of rows.  Any suggestions how to work around this?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know more on your system.

  1. You on Windows 10 or 11? And what version of Windows you're on? Use Winver.exe to get those.
  2. Start11 version numbers.
  3. Do you turn on Start11 Taskbar enhance if you in Windows 11?

Thanks

Are you using autohide mode as you can only have a single row in that mode.

I wonder if there is a way to use multirow taskbar in autohide mode. Why not to enable it, it shouldn´t be so complicated regfix or programing?

That seems ridiculous to me. To make the taskbar resizable, why not do it all the way.

What is the programming reason for it not to be possible in autohide mode? - Is it just lack of time?
