Are Start11 a separate program on Steam?

Hello. After about 10 years i started using Stardock Fenses once more. I'm also interested in purchasing Start11. I've noticed Start11 is on steam as well, for half the price.. So, i just wondered if steam needs to be running for Start11 to be functional? Is it a separate program, like fenses?

I also wondered if the option when right clicking the taskbar, if one can choose to have windows 10 setup. I would like to have taskmanager to be located here when right clicking.

No it does not. It needs to be running on activation which should happen during installation, after that Steam is not required to be running.

Start11 offers taskmanager on the right click taskbar menu on windows 11.
