the U--- problem. Yes he got me, I was tryin to be nice to the person with the new ID. But he showed his true colors and I said things I shouldn't have. > I would like to suggest making everyones IP adress visible when they post on the boards, that way he or any other person that wants to misbehave and act like a fool will think twice before posting some bad things Might make a difference, who knows What do you think??

WHat I think is that people are making way too much of this UzEE issue. And he's probably just sitting back and loving it. To quote from other threads; "stop feeding the beast" . Get on with life here at WC and "let the admins take care of him"

Here is my way of thinking. I am as open as usual with people, until I suspect something or 'sense' something. If I decide something is not on the up and up, I deprive them of the most important thing I can... ME (, not that they ever know or care)! I just either don't even open the threads, or do not answer them. That way, if I am right I am not stressed out. And if I am wrong, the only one who ends up a losing anything is me, and that is what I deserve for being so judgemental!

With a dialup user, I don't think visible IP adresses will help much.

Eh, don't fret too much, Bones. I still laugh when I remember when KarmaGirl lost her patience and said something not quite in keeping with the TOS. (She gave herself a warning afterwards, lol.)

I think that showing peoples IP address is not an option as it could be a serious security issue for users.

What you should have learned from that is to not say things you do not want repeated...

Don't worry about it and be a little more selective in what you say is the best advice I can think of.
