How About A WinCustomize Chat Room?????

Seeing as im on here most of the day. I think it would be cool to have a chat area. What do you think?
Or has this idea came up before, then shot down?

No. It is not shot down.

Just start SDC and select the chat tab and press the "Connect" button. This will connect you to #WinCustomize. A busier channel can be reached by typing
/join #Stardock

Don't forget the slash.

If you are using an IRC client then connect to irc.stardock.com (port 6667) and join #WinCustomize or #Stardock.

More help is available in the Help menu of SDC. In that menu select "Chat tutorial".

I was thinking more of a link on this page, for non-stardock users.
With all of the trial programs out for Windowblinds and such, They could get a better feel of what Stardock has to offer.

There is really no need for a link to the chat rooms. All the browsers, SDC & Skinbrowser, has a button that takes you to the chat room.

You don't have to own anything from Stardock to use Stardock Central.  SDC is also a way to find all the shareware and free versions of software that we offer.

BTW: The chat channels are not web pages. Although one can provide a link to an IRC channel it will be supported only for chat clients like mIRC. Not sure if other clients even support that feature.
