Start11 taskbar icons get over the language bar and microphone in windows 11 when two rows enabled

Bug in Start11 - the taskbar gets on the microphone when two rows or more enabled

Hi...

I have recently purchased start11 and it worked perfectly...

After I had upgraded recently to the latest version of windows (Windows 11 22h2) The taskbar icons get over the microphone and the language bar... it's very annoying and I can't use windows at all...

Please fix this annoying Bug as soon as possible...

Thanks,

Ayman

I can't reproduce your issue on my system. However, I have forwarded your problem/question to Stardock Support Team for their assistance. Please keep an eye on this thread for any updates. We appreciate your feedback and patience.

Also, you're on Start11 V1.27 Beta, yes?

Thanks

Hi

I am also having the same issue after upgrading to 22H2, prior to this i could have the taskbar two rows high and the system tray icons were also neatly in two rows, now they are in one row with grey slider bars,

i have attached a screenshot showing this in various states, if you move the taskbar from 1 - 3 - 4 rows high you can see it overlapping the language network and mic icons as described by Ayman

Love the product though, its a shame we have to pay extra to return windows to a functional start menu for power users

After updating to the beta version of Start 11 1.27 the issue is different, i no longer have the grey slider bars but at two rows high, i only have 1 row of system tray icons, and the far right icon (MS Teams) is kinda cut in half.

if i increase the task bar to 3 rows high, it is better in that i now have two rows of system tray icons, and none are chopped, but i have a third row of wasted space below

For now this is at least usable, but hopefully you can get it back to working correctly with two rows high task bar and two rows of system tray icons.

Rhys

Hello Rhys,

Does restarting explorer.exe resolve your cut off icon issue?

I am having the same issue after upgrading to Windows 11 22H2.  If you have two rows on the taskbar, the tray icons do not wrap.   Instead, a slider bar shows up.  I am running Start11 version 1.25.

Please try V1.28. Try uninstall first. Reboot immediately, install the V1.28. Retest and report back.

Hi Basj

Ive reinstalled it now with v1.28, time will tell if i still have the issue with everything missing in the system tray randomly on reboots, I do still have the issue where i have to have the start bat 3 x height to get 2 rows of icons in the system tray.

Thanks

Rhys
