Multiplayer galaxy settings

We currently only have minimal options in galaxy size in multiplayer. Any plans on increasing it so that we can play in at least somewhat bigger ones for sandbox mode? 2 sectors seems really small, I dont see why we cant play on somewhat bigger maps.
