Screen resolution changed after applying deskscape, and now I cannot get the native resolution back

I recently tried, for the first time, to apply a separate deskscape to my secondary monitor.  After doing so I immediately noticed that the screen resolution of that monitor wasn't nearly as "crisp" as it should be, nor were the fonts of any of the programs viewed on that screen.

Since that time I've not been able to get this resolved.  The monitor affected has a native resolution of 2560 x 1600, but Windows is only showing a top option of 1080 x 1920.  Nothing I've tried thus far has been able to correct this.  I use my secondary monitor primarily for email, and when I opened Thunderbird all of the font and icon sizes were bloated.

Can someone, anyone, please tell me what I need to do to correct this?

Thank you in advance.  Kindest regards.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Never seen "Deskscape change monitor resolution" from anyone before. Can't you try changing the resolution back via your graphics card setting something like "Nvidia Control Panel"?

Thanks

Thanks Basj.

I've tried that route numerous times, with no success.  The native screen resolution isn't even listed in the nVidia Control Panel, nor the native Windows device manager.  When I tried to use a 'custom' screen resolution within nVidia CP all of my screens went black and I couldn't recover short of a hard restart.

I wish that I'd never have tried to apply a second/unique wallpaper to my secondary monitor.  Any and all suggestions/ideas/recommendations/etc. are greatly appreciated.  Please help.

Kindest Regards

Please try purge steps as mention here : [Link]. First, do the purge. Restart your system. And test if your display can be change to its correct resolution while Deskscape is not install. If that work, than proceed to reinstall. If not, you will need to check your Windows system, which something else is causing it. Not Deskscape.

DeskScapes has no support at all for changing resolution so whatever changed resolution wasn't DeskScapes itself.

I would double check the cable going to the monitor in case it has developed a fault.  The monitor resolutions are usually returned from the monitor itself directly so if the other resolution isn't listed that might suggest something at that end.

Also what model is the monitor in question?
