Microsoft Store is skinned horribly (and other apps)

just installed windowblinds for windows 10, and modern apps just look plain weird when skinned. for example, the microsoft store app’s top layer is completely covered, making the search bar and other icons completely unclickable, and with apps like Camera and Photos, the app itself completely covers the top bar which just makes it look ugly. i thought if i just excluded these apps from being skinned altogether it wouldn’t be a problem but there is no executable file for pre installed apps that i can find. any help/tips??

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, I can't reproduce your issue on my system. Somehow Universal App are auto disable on my system. Screenshot for reference. BTW, I am on WB11.

Need to know more on your system:

  1. You on Windowblinds 10 or 11? And its version numbers.
  2. Windows 10 version? Full version number please. Use Winver.exe to get it.

Thanks

My guess is since MS Store UI latest update, you might need WB11 to work properly with it. Anyway, to be sure I forwarded your issue to Stardock Support Team for their assistance. Please keep an eye on this thread for any updates. We appreciate your feedback and patience.

Thanks

yes, when i saw your first reply and noticed you had windowblinds 11 i immediately went to download it, and it stopped skinning modern apps in a strange way, thank you!
