How to dload mods?

As the title states, how do i dload any mod?, as the logical?, method doesn't seem to be working.... FYI i am using a new acount if that is a reason why?

Start up GC4. At the main menu, you should see 5 icons in the center at the bottom. The middle one is the workshop, click on it:

Once in the workshop there are tabs for ships, civilizations, etc. Each entry has a down arrow in the lower right, click on that to download.
