Start 11 on Windows 11

Start 11 will not clear recent apps list.

On my system I am running Windows 11, and Start 11 will not clear recent apps list - so the start menu is still cluttered. 

The fix outlined below is not working for me:

turn off Show most used apps, click Themes, then click Start again, and then turn it back on - does not clear the app list.... any work arounds?

Btw Dev team - Is it possible to get a button that will just clean the list ? Can i put in a feature request somewhere?

Wait, after reading your initial post again, first, you mentioned "Clear recent apps list" and than you try to clear "most used apps". Which are two very different things. So which is the one you're trying to clear? Recent apps list or Most used app list? It also best if you post a screenshot and show us which area you wish to be cleared?

The list is maintained by Windows itself not Start11.  Start11 simply reads it.

Doing the steps to disable the OS from tracking that SHOULD clear the list, but you may need to sign out afterwards.
