Unable to successfully apply new styles, or see them on the Style page, after installing WB 11 with just Windows Classic theme selected

I did a clean Win10 install of WB 11 with just the Windows Classic style (which, BTW, I was disappointed with - it's less authentic than the True Classic style).  With that configuration, I wasn't able to get any other styles to work. I'd install them and choose to Apply Style, but nothing would happen, and the new styles would not appear on the Style page of the settings window.

I then installed again with all styles selected (without uninstalling first), and then all of the styles I had downloaded appeared on the Style page of the settings window, and I can now apply them (as well as installing/applying new ones).

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. May I know your Windows 10 full version numbers please. Use Winver.exe to get those.

Thanks

Win10x64 22H2, build 19045.2364

It's not really a problem for me - just wanted to let you guys know since I assume some other people will run into it also.

I just ran into this same thing, I installed WindowBlinds 11.01.00 on Windows 10 (22H2 1945.2364)
I did not want to bother troubleshooting it so I went back to WindowBlinds 10, no big deal for me, I am also just making it known that it can't be a one off.

I uninstalled, rebooted, and installed again (again with just the Windows Classic style), and this time the problem did not occur.

I wonder if it was related to me getting the "WindowBlinds has detected a problem with core files. Please contact support with error message -7" error during my first install, although that seemed to be otherwise fixed by rebooting.  May be worth someone testing with a completely fresh install, and maybe with a system that will cause that "-7" error during install.

Thank you for for feedback! This is not supposed to happen, but just for your information about this issue, there is an option in the Windowblinds config to rebuild the skins list if not newly installed styles are showing or for some other reason the list is not complete. Click the cogwheel in the upper right corner and choose rebuild list and that should solve this issue.
