I have closed the other thread since ChichiGirl's husband was trying to turn it into a totally different topic of "Where's my wife's OD refund" (to which all I can say is I'll ask about it on Monday, I think I along with every admin on this site want to ensure that there is no reason whatsoever for chichigirl or her husband to have to visit this site).

But apparently this author's skins: https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?authorid=222721 are claimed by ChiChigirl too.

I checked my email for emails from Chichi, there are a lot of them over the past number of years, and there was one in Feburary that made a mention of this person's skins.

Apparently there is dispute between John Grudger and ChiChigirl over who has rights on these skins. ChiChiGirl claims to have co-designed them. John Grudger claims to have made them. We don't know, but it is up to the accuser to provide the evidence and as one might not be surprised to hear, we are not favorably disposed to ChiChiGirl given her past behavior to take her at her word.

Jafo - whatever you think is best is okay with me.  It's a sticky situation. What apparently sparked it was that John updated his/her skins again and uploaded a bunch of new ones recently which sparked this new episode. If ChiChiGirl can prove she authored the skins then they are hers and those skins should be removed. Though it remains beyond me why someone would want to rip ChiChiGirl's skins.

As posted previously, as I recall it was left to be determined/resolved amongst the two co-claimants, as it was alleged to be a collaborative project.

The determination of authority to publish between such a 'partnership' is not within the realm of a site's administration but is the responsibility of the persons involved, and or their legal counsel.

I think that is the only appropriate public position, however either party or both are free to use private communication to proffer their respective case/s....

Based on what I have seen, it would appear that one part: Chichi and Hobnobber have chosen to take the route of trying to intimidate others into agreeing to their wishes.

Having already exhausted that on this site to the point of being exiled, she then allegedly emailed eople who commented on John Grudger's skins harassing them. Then went onto SkinBase to post...yet another...rant on how unfair and evil WinCustomize is and how all of this is my personal fault as if I am somehow personally involved with Jon Grudger's skins or her dispute with this guy.

As you said, Jafo, it isn't this site's place to decide ownership on a skin when ownership of said skin isn't clear. That is for those two to work out amongst themselves. Harassing users and making abusive and just nasty posts here and on other sites is not the way to resolve it.

What can someone say? One's word against one's other.
Look at all the other blinds by JG, only one (Flora) is totally different. I immediately thought it has a chichi touch, whether he was inspired by her skins or not, nobody knows but only the people involved. Then I see a comment on skinbase by chichi, and I, for one think it's a bit fishy.
How on earth can you investigate if it was agreed between these people not to upload that skin, and suddenly you see yours, you participated in, published. I think that would be a shocker to everyone, whether it is chichi or say treetog.(And now that it published you can't even prove it by sending the skin you made together) On skinbase she just said she wanted credit for participating, and since that is also wincusto policy to give credit where credit is due that seemed fair. Only thing that remains is, who do you believe Oh and JG did say to me they cooperated making skins, he also claims to have been teaching her in making WB. I did delete all correspondence with that guy though, I don't want to have negativity in my environment. So would you believe me if I said that.
