Function suggestion: Drag file to the existing tab group

I have a function suggestion about drag file to the existing tab group. Whether this function can be added in new version?

Right now the new tab can only be created by drag a existing windows that means we must open a file first and then drag the window.

So whether is it possible to the drag the unopened files directly? I think that will be much better for use.
