Start11 V1.41 menu bar Icon not aligned correctly

Dear all,

is somebody else experiencing this :

The left and the right of the task bar information seem to be somewhat disaligned to the top and so for instance the clock hour is truncated.

When I open the start11 configuration and restart explorer it's temporarily solved but after a while it reverts to this.

Any solution to allign all correctly?

After an explorer restart

it aligns all correctly and I get this

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. If you have not yet update to Start11 V1.4.2 Beta, please do so. Uninstall first, reboot immediately, download the latest version, install it. Reboot and retest. If the issue still appear. Please review this thread and see if similar issue appear in there. If not please report yours in there.

Hi,

I am having a similar problem.  I have a HP Spectre 2 in 1 and it does have tablet capabilities.  Since a recent upgrade of Start 11, when I switch to an external monitor and shut the lid so that it only displays on the external monitor, the taskbar icons become misaligned with the ones on the end of the taskbar and the time and date halfway dropping below the bottom of the screen so they cannot be read.  Restarting explorer corrects it, but as soon as I open the lid again so that it duplicates the screen they again are misaligned.  I tried the beta 1.4.2 and this did not solve the problem.

Thanks

Hello Startdock & all,

Like already stated here, the last update initiated the issue again. I'm again with half of the fixed task bar shifted upwards causing the system clock to become partially hidden upwards and causing other discomforts. Can this be fixed asap and make the test team verify that this doesn't come back please.

Kind regards,

Henri Biron

Extra info This problem exists now and in previous version of Start11, but in the version before that it was solved or it seemed so. I had the problems also in the version before that solved version

If you can convince Microsoft to stop making OS changes, that would go a long way, Henri 😉

I will pass on your observations, thank you for them.

HenriBiron, what is your current resolution and scaling?

If you alter the scaling, lower and higher (if possible), perhaps restarting Windows Explorer after you do

...does it resolve it?

You would need to sign out after changing it and do not use custom scaling when testing.
