Title bar blur features enabled on this operating system - how do you change this?

Looking in about box for WindowBlinds

Tried to look in windows 11 and searched internet and don't find a setting regarding blur other than on lock screen.

- nothing for title bar

Only thing I did not like with the Win8 skin was the blurred text in title bar, so thought I want to turn that off.

Tried making a modified theme MyWin8 and fixed the text but some things strange and transparent where not good.

Thanks.

When opening WindowBlinds there is a text saying as title of this topic.

- title bar blur features are enabled for this operating system

It's meant as some information text to user that this blur is enabled.

How do I disable this, instead?

You refer to some blur feature, and I don't find such a setting anywhere.

- not in windows at least

Where is this setting for blur features that text refer to?

Thanks.

You do not disable this.

It is information that your OS supports blur on the background of titlebars and the taskbar.

Disabling the blurred text in that skin is a skin setting that's unrelated.  It is probably a setting on the font set for the caption text.

Can you post a screenshot of "Only thing I did not like with the Win8 skin was the blurred text in title bar"

Thanks guys.

I managed in my own MyWin8 to get rid of this blurred stuff, basically creating bmp so no transparency and similar things.

But get some things transparent now in caption when windows not active.

I thought seeing this remark "title bar blur features enabled" that I could turn that off instead of learning everything making my own skin.

It took some hours to get that far.

But mostly run Classic skin with win95 type of look and that is very good too. Actually many really good.

I imagine there is some registry setting or group policy in windows to turn that blur stuff off. I have not found among regular appearance settings through System and Advanced either. There is some policy setting to turn off blur of background on lock screen, or login screen.

Easier to do that, and then just use Win8 skin as it is rather than learn the full procedure getting myWin8 all good.

But I'll fix you a screenshot tomorrow of Win8 how it looks. All kinds of shadows and blurred stuff around text in caption, so just about readable.

I don't have 4k monitors, so just 1080p but dual monitors so 3840 wide. Maybe it looks dandy on 4k monitors.

Ok, so it sounds like it is a skin issue and not an issue with the WindowBlinds application itself

Issue, just a matter of taste, I think. Here how it looks and my favorite Classic.

Thats not a WB11 issue. That skin has text glow in the titlebars. If you dont like that, you will need to modify it in skin studio.
