WindowsBlinds 11

Windows 10

Hello everyone,

I'm new here, I hope I opened this thread in the right place

I purchase today, WindowsBlinds 11, played a bit with the settings, downloaded few skins.

But I'd like to modify the styles, a bit more. I've read a lot about Skin Editor and I'm confused

Do I need to buy / install /a different software?

There is a Stardock Skin Studio ( attached image ) but when I click on the WB11 menu, upper right " Edit style in Skin Studio" it brings me to this website

https://www.stardock.com/products/skinstudio/

Could anyone help me, please?

Thank you in advance

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. When you click that button on WB11. It should open Skinstudio V11. Which version of Skinstudio you have installed? And did you install in its default directory?

Thanks

Blue_W, yes, there is another program you need to download: SkinStudio. You're entitled to it at no extra cost. Go to this url: https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products and under Object Desktop Manager click on View Individual Downloads. SkinStudio11 should be on the list of programs that opens up.

Download it and install it...and welcome, newcomer!

anyone else wondering why his screenshot is from the year 2020?

I doubt there's a time machine around, so the most likely explanation is that Blue_W posted a screenshot of SKS from somewhere else.

Sorry, in my email was another. exe, didn't see it

The screenshot is from Google, just an example

Now it's working fine

But there is an issue with the AMD Adrenalin control panel

It won't open. Tried to uninstall ( just a test) WB11 and AMD Adrenalin CP is opening without issues

Any advices, guys?

Thank you

I've read a few posts that AMD and Windowblinds are not compatible...that might be the problem.

Didn't know that

And, there is no way to fix this problem?!

Thank you

I've sent a note to a Community Support Assistant. Hopefully he'll be along. Check back on this post from time to time to see if he has.

I don't have AMD graphics card to verify it. But, if an application has issues with Windowblinds, it is best to set it to be ignored by Windowblinds from skinning it. Try this. Refer screenshot.

I'd like to edit some parts ( color) for Windows Explorer. I don't know exactly the location

Any advices are welcome.

FWIW, I have several AMD rigs and no issues with windowblinds or Adrenalin CP.
