Two Uninstall Options causing issues

Greetings folks,

I have used Fences 3 for just over a year now.

I tried a demo of Fences 4, but found it not much different for what I already utilised it for.

When using the Window10 uninstall Apps list it shows an Uninstall for both Fences 3 and 4.

On using the uninstall Fences 4 option, it attempted to uninstall Fences 3 !

I cannot remove the option or find any trace of 4 any longer on my PC, being certain I had already uninstalled it prior, it made sense it had performed the task, but did not remove the Uninstall option or disable it trying to remove Fences 3.

I suppose I could uninstall Fences 3, but I fear I will loses my setup.

It's not the end of the world, but did seem odd.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. You can backup your saved layout snapshot using this guide: https://forums.stardock.com/486084/fences-support-faq#backupsnapshots. 

And to try purge and reinstall steps as mention here : [Link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account page. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation.

Would like to suggest to move on to Fences 4 because Fences 3 has stopped development. Unless you wish not to update your Windows 10 to its latest version. Fences 3 might not work properly on current or future Windows 10 version.

I have upgraded to 4 now and all seems well.

Any reference to 3 is all gone and my layout seems fine.
