Desktop X Objects

Is there any way to use desktop x objects without a theme applied? I see many objects that I like, but no themes that I like. I want to use WB and IP along with some desktop x objects. Is this possible?

Yes, that is actually one of the main purposes of DesktopX. All you need to do is load DX, then load the "Default" theme. It's nothing more than a bunch of DX objects, it's not really a theme. Then all you need to do is load the objects you do want and remove the ones you don't.

Actually when you first run DX it loads with a "blank" theme, only setting up IconX, which you can disable if you want. So then its just a matter of choosing which objects you wish to add, and then saving it as a theme so it will load on startup with that setup. Be sure to set the wallpaper you want with the theme in DX also.

Yup I ran the blank one all the time on another machine.
And sometimes on this one when I don't have a zillion Christmas objects on my desktop.

That's how I'm using DX...... just a couple of objects to round out my HvD theme..
