But both install with the same name "Quantum Accelerated" and the only difference is that frogboy's skin doesnot have substyles but SW's skin has a subskin....Otherwise there is No Difference At All

Arkantos.....when something is 'ported' more than once you will obviously have similarities....and if these two were ported from the same visual style then they'd be next to identical [or could be].

Perhaps your understanding of 'port' is wanting...

I just tried to download both versions and they both cancel each other out. Is there any way to stop that from happening?

Right click and save as....then rename the file.

If they are identical names you can edit the UIS to the new file name and be able to run both...

I can see there might be a problem with the naming thing,but since they are so similar,do you really need both?

If you have SkinStudio, install one version, then open it with SkinStudio, then go to File -> Save as... and give it a new name. Then install the other one, and you'll have both.

Snidely's version may have a compact start menu, as that's his style most likely the reason why there is a subskin.

its kind of like all the mac styles floating around. They didn't copy off each other, just from the ui of a mac.

nope. no compact menu is my version. that is a grand idea tho. i haven't used that skin in ages. it might be due for a makeover
