I have this same issue on windows 11 with Start11...the icons have text next to them with no option to remove(that I can find).

Start11 offers an option to show no text if you wish whilst still being uncombined.  This is on the same screen as the multiple monitor settings for the taskbar which you can open from the start11 taskbar settings screen.

hmm, I don't have those options in Win11 or Start11.  I don't have a show labels option or reg entry.

I am guessing this is on a newer windows build not yet released?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. In Start11, to have no text appear on opened application taskbar button. You have two choices.

Turn "Start11 enhance taskbar" to "Off" or set Taskbar button should be combined to "Always"

Thanks
