Start11 Feature Request: Import/Export Feature for Start Menu Layout and Settings

Hi there,

I really miss a Feature to Import/Export the Start Menu Layout (also including Icons and Links?) and all the Settings for Start11 inside the Start11 Application itself!

I know I can backup the Registry Key "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Stardock\Start8" but...

For a Paid Product, I think I can expect such a "standard Feature" by default, IMHO.

A PAID Update (Start11 v2) is the Solution?

What about all the other Bugs that still not fixed in the "v1" Version like the Black Icons in the Taskbar?

What about "Replace "Individual" Icon on Links with same exe name replace ALL Icons"
Reported here and sill no fix or "proper" solution

What about the ability to change Language?

You really believe that anyone in their right mind would pay for an UPDATE (especially if the Order is less then 6 month!) for "bugged" and "unfinished" software?! 🤮

You can export and import on v1 using the instructions provided in the FAQ.  This is not a feature we have ever suggested would be part of v1.

Language changes in Start11 are complicated due to the use of OS translations for parts of the UI which will match OS display language rather than start11.  You can delete the lng file for your language if you wish which will revert what is controlled by start11 to English.

You are not required to upgrade and I would say you should not unless there is something you specifically want that v2 offers.  V1 continues to work on current versions of Windows 10 and 11.  If you do then a discount is available.
