Start 11 - Quicklaunch Folder not implemented

Dear Stardock Support,

I have been using Start11 since the beginning and I am very satisfied with it.

Now, I have received a new computer for work and I wanted to link my Quick Access folder, which I have pinned to the taskbar, to it.

With the regular Windows Start menu, I can do this by right-clicking on the taskbar -> Toolbars -> New toolbar -> Select folder.

Does Start11 have this functionality as well, and I just haven't found it?

If not, is it possible to implement it again?

Thank you.

Hello,
Those taskbar toolbar function still available on Windows 10 but no longer available in Windows 11. Are you on Windows 10 or Windows 11?

I am using the latest version of Windows 11.

I thought since Start11 emulates the old taskbar, this feature should be included.

That was the easiest and quickest way to access the various projects that are being used there.

I would really appreciate it if that could come back.

Just for the sake of completeness, I'm referring to this:

I solved this by pinning such folders to the right side of the start 11 menu in Windows 7 mode.

I dont think this is the same or I just dont know what you mean.

The advantage of this folder toolbar is that I dont have to click through various folders, just mouse over, subfolder pops out, another subfolder... and then choose the document beeing in this folder

In comparison to just a simple folder where i always have to Double click to see the structure, this pinned folders are so much worthier.

Maybe the is another way to do so but I just havn't found it yet

You can use Stardock Fences and set your Portal Fence link to that folders. Roll it down and put it just above your taskbar. It will work very similar to Taskbar toolbars.

I don't think "Fences" achieves a similar result.

1. have to close all windows to access it, which I didn't need to do with the old toolbar order because it was always there.

2. also have to double-click on each folder again to see its content.

Unfortunately, Fences is not even close to being the solution for this actually quite simple problem.

1. No, Fences 4 now have hotkeys function to bring Fences to the top.

2. Can not argue with that part.

On "simple problem", I don't think its that simple. If it is, I believe, Dev has long implemented it, by counting on how many have request it since Start11 was released.
