Start 10: latest version still not fully localized in Spanish

I understand if the installer is still in English, as it can be expected that most system admins have a working knowledge of English - that's just a reality of the IT world.  However, the user options menu still being partially in English is pretty unacceptable, as you cannot expect users the world over to be able to read complex English options.

I would suggest visiting this github site which was set up by Stardock to allow users to contribute to adding or correcting language issues.

https://github.com/StardockCorp/Stardock-Software-Localization

The program is explained here,

Hope this helps.

I believe those are for Start11 not for Start10, no?

Oops! You’re correct. Start10 is probably not getting any more attention from the devs. at this point. I would then suggest the OP upgrade to Start11.

So, we are still using Windows 10, still running Start 10, paid for Start 10 in full 6 years ago, and now have to pay for an upgrade just to hope to get a full translation for the 4th most-spoken language (2nd most in the Western world)?

I could almost understand this if there was never any Spanish-language version of Start 10.  Then it would be like me basically requesting a new feature at the end of the applications life.

But Start 10 has always had a Spanish translation.  It's just that certain UI elements are still untranslated.  This is more of an unfinished implementation, or possibly a bug.

For me, it is best to move to Start11 for better support on Windows 10/11 with all the new improvement offered. Refer here on what has change since Start11 introduced : https://www.stardock.com/products/start11/history. A large part of it are to resolved issue when Windows introduced new features in their latest Windows 10/11 updates.

Also, as mentioned by pelaird above, Stardock now introduced Community Translation to help its products to have better language support.
