I don't intend to sound like I'm whining, or even putting down other people's art....but, My wallpapers continue to get rejected, I believe I'm on my 6th rejection as of now; in a row.

- There was a recent submission, of a pack of cigarettes, with some slightly bevelled text on the lower left corner.... [and I don't want to sound whiny here lol].... but how did *that* get in before any of mine? Are all of my submissions REALLY deemed crap by the admins/mods who look at them?.... I'm still "waiting approval" on one wall, but it's been in that state for 2 days now - which basically means declined.

I guess I'm just confused.

it says wait 5, but for all of my accepted submissions thus far, they're consistently posted within 24 hours. It's not just my walls either...


-point is, why are so many of mine getting rejected? Are they THAT bad?

8 rejections is fine, but were they all in a row? lol, I'm not meaning to bash or question the moderation of walls, honestly.. I'm just feeling discouraged and confused, considering the quality of some of the recent wallpaper submissions. [I mean no harm to anyone by my words, I'm just a lil lost here]

The first 7 were in a row and then another one later.Sometimes I think they hold the more experienced artist to a higher standard.(maybe to keep him from fom embarrasing himself )

I read this thread and decided to take a look at the wallpapers. First time, since I don't use wallpaper, 'cause I don't like the way it clutters up my desktop

I'm glad we got him too, but does anyone want that ugly Jerry Garcia wannabe hanging out on their desktop?

What I don't get is that in WinCustomise Browser it shows up #1 updated wallpaper. Through IE I had to do a search to find it.

it actually seems like work from the higher-esteemed users of the site get by moderation almost immediately. I've had good (even great) art not make it through moderation...I guess it just has to do with how the admin is feeling at the moment
