Renaming files in the desktop becomes transparent when open-shell is installed alongside Windowblinds in Windows 11

In Windows 11, when classic shell/open-shell is installed alongside any kind of Windowblinds skin, renaming files in the desktop becomes almost impossible when the file is above a bright background because it adds transparency to both the text and the background of the renaming. (Windows transparency in the customization settings is disabled).
Does anyone know of a fix or maybe a registry key that can be modified to fix this issue?

I will appreciate the help.

Windowblinds can work well with some of the many other customizing apps...but not all, so there might not be a fix. With respect to WB and Open Shell, I did a search on duckduckgo...apparently there are and have been problems using them together.

I wonder: If you exit Open Shell, does the problem disappear?

No, only if you uninstall it completely.
But if you use the default win11 theme in windowblinds, the issue gets fixed as well.

Proving WB and Open Shell are incompatible. May I ask what Open Shell does for your desktop...the reason you use it?

I ask to see if there's another program that will fill the function without conflict with WB.

I'm using it to customize the start menu and start button to look like windows xp, not sure why installing it has any effect on the desktop file renaming.
I've tried Start11 before, but it was missing so many features like dragging files from the start menu to the desktop and couldn't make it look the way I want, its customization is really lacking in comparison to open-shell.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, does the issue happen on any Windowblinds theme?

Thanks

Open Shell works correct on WB10 and WB11 beta. Maybe Stardock add some tweaks to final WB11 and now it not works ?

In my opinion Open Shell is better that Start11 because support all start orbs.

More likely Microsoft caused and continues to cause problems with their never ending changes to W11.

Another thing which causes problems is using two or more customizing apps together which were never designed to be used that way.

Have you asked OpenShell's devs to change their app to work with Stardock's?
