So, long story short I recently got back into strategy gaming. As a birthday gift to myself I decided to buy Sins after several years away from gaming. Low and behold the game had a sale going on Steam until the 4th of September, my birthday!~ So I knew that day I would have some extra money, and waited until then to buy it. The day arrives.. and bam, the steam client suddenly shows there's no longer a sale for Sins. I am 100% positive it said the sale (75% off) lasted until September 4th. Because I specifically remember thinking "Hey, that's my birthday! I will totally buy it the same day.) Well, I get home today and log onto Steam to buy it and find that the sale has ended ahead of schedule and it's back to $40. I would have bought it earlier if I had known the sale was going to end ahead of schedule. Now I am pretty bummed. What gives? Why did the sale end early?
