Start11

Start Menu

Hello!

I need your help! In previous versions, you could freely change the contents of the Start Menu. Delete, modify, add programs or customize them to your liking.
You had your place, and with a Total Commander, for example, you could do whatever you wanted. In this version, however, I can't find the Start Menu anywhere.

Can you help me find out where it is? Where can I make changes? I hope it doesn't disappoint me and I don't have to put an earlier version back on my machine.

You can edit the all programs list the same way you did in Start10.  Right click on the all programs button and open the explorer folder for the shortcuts.

Thank you, but unfortunately this is not what I meant. Where can I find the Start Menu itself?

There I want to arrange files and folders, directly in it.

I don't see the specific folder in Total Commander, only in axplorer.

C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\

or

C:\Users\Argyelán Zoltán\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs

Have you tried this location: taken from this guide: https://forums.stardock.com/505872/start11-support-faq#backUpSettings

Windows 7 Start11 Menu Style Shortcuts

For pinned items to be carried over for the Win7 menu style, you can copy all the shortcuts located here:

%appdata%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\User Pinned\StartMenu
(copy \ paste that into Windows Explorer)

Reboot and it should be as it was for settings.

The only thing I would like to ask is that I just bought the program. Why does registration not work with version 1.50?

Start11 1.50? There is no such version released yet. The latest version available for public via Stardock direct is V1.47.3 Beta. Where did you get the V1.50 from?

If you purchased Start11 the key will not work on Start10. Just like if you purchase Windows 11, the key will not work on Windows 10.

There is also no reason to use Start10 when Start11 offers everything Start10 does and more.
