No, you have to use the font that this page uses, which I dont know what it is. I got lucky and specified all of mine in tahoma, which gave me all the ones I needed.

I think you also have to use a font that is installed on most folks computers, otherwise all they'd be seeing is little boxes. Tahoma, Arial, MS Sans Serif and Times New Roman are pretty basic fonts

It's only clever of course to have a nick which is both recognizable AND able to be spelled/repeated.

I find that when they are just too annoyingly difficult to replicate that I'll simply not bother to address that person by name....not an insulting action on my part but more a response to inconsiderate action on the part of the 'unpronouncable'.

Serious food for thought while attempting to be 'trendy'...

Jafo, as for the trendy ones I agree they are almost impossible to duplicate. Copy-paste, which is what I just do most of the time.Even for the just plain long unusual names.

When in doubt, you can always resort to: "hey you" or "yo dude who's so dyslectic you messed up your nick".

Using the alt-numbers thing is done via the numeric pad on the right, by the way. Ergo, flick on num-lock, hold alt, then enter a number on the numeric pad and let go of alt.
