We do not go to the show here because of dumb people with guns shooting them in the air. I've had two bullets zip - thud into the ground near me one New Years. A couple of cars lost wind shields, holes in car bodies, roofs, house roofs and a couple different people actually have been hit in the past.

Soooo, we hang in the house...

Can't find any pix but Baghdad earlier in '03 was pretty spectacular...

As for the 'Fireworks' displays .... if you have any domestic pets then they are not so good .... the number of terrified dogs alone on January 1 is not a pretty sight.
