Has this been addressed already?

Hey guys, is anyone else seeing duplicate shortcuts in the all programs menu?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, I don't see it on my Windows 10 and Windows 11 system.

Thanks

If you right click on them and get properties, are they actually pointing to the same thing?

Ok, yes, they do. BUT, I discovered that they are the "apps" that can be made in Edge, when you are on a site and want to make an app of that site.

So, in properties it looks like it points to This PC, file location is Desktop, but it does open the site. So in short, they're website shortcuts.

Look under details, it should give you the full path to the shortcut.

We are still looking into this.  I suspect it might be an interaction between the standard all programs list and the universal apps list and those are being considered to be both somehow.

This is assuming the OS menu doesn't show both too?

Ding ding ding!  We have a winner!

The OS menu also does it.

Then alas it isn't our bug.

I would delete the duplicates (via s11 win7 tree)
